Our origin
Content Birchpath began when our founder, after helping a relative locate scattered deed folders and an unused hardware wallet after a parent’s hospitalization, recognized that Korean families often document bank accounts but leave offline and paper holdings undocumented. We opened our Songpa consultation room in 2019 to offer structured inventory planning as a dedicated service—not as an adjunct to legal or brokerage firms.
What we do
We help family asset stewards produce written inventories of offline wallets, paper certificates, custody arrangements, and related records. Our work sits between daily household management and professional legal counsel: we make holdings visible to authorized family members in plain language.
Our approach
- Paper-first clarity: Deliverables are readable binders and encrypted PDFs, not proprietary portals.
- Custody respect: We document who holds what without demanding exposure of secrets during sessions.
- Local context: Sessions reflect Korean household norms—multi-generational homes, safety deposit practices, and mixed Korean and overseas holdings.
- Boundaries: We refer tax, legal, and valuation questions to licensed professionals.
The team
Min-seo Park leads consultations. She spent twelve years in private banking operations before specializing in household record organization. She holds a certificate in family wealth documentation from the Korea Financial Planning Association.
Jae-won Han facilitates steward workshops and maintains our session templates. He previously managed archive projects for a Seoul law firm’s estate practice.
Community
We host quarterly open evenings at our office for stewards to exchange non-confidential practices—labelling conventions, annual review timing, and working with attorneys. Attendance is free; registration via our contact form.
